Longwood blessings is dedicated to empowering hungry children by providing them with food on school year weekends. With your help we are feeding over 450 students a weekend but with your help we hope to bring that number to 600 children a week. We are asking you to feed one child for this school year. Your $200 donation will build up our community one student at a time. If life has been good and you can afford to feed more than one child we stand in awe of your generosity. I you cannot make a commitment for a year – how about a month? $22 would feed one child for a month. If you can’t afford a monetary donation at this time maybe you can help the children in another way. Pick as many as you feel comfortable:
- Share our social media posts – we will be revitalizing our digital marketing on Facebook and a new YouTube channel and a new website
- Do a local food drive with family and neighbors (contact us for a list of foods we deliver each week)
- Leverage your corporate connections to help us obtain corporate partners
- Help on our marketing/fundraising team
- Promote Blessings Coffee available in Regular or DeCaf Beans or Ground
- Help promote our May Casino fundraiser
- Any other talent you can put to use to help the children
